Engineered for performance.
A completely new platform, developed in Europe and shaped through the experience of a winning team. It’s the result of months of focused, tireless work built with one goal in mind: to compete at the highest level.
No shortcuts. Just the drive to do things right.
Born from commitment
The Spec1ale comes from a unique moment in RC history. It’s the point where a World Champion brand owner, Kenji Taira joins forces with a World Champion designer, Francesco Martini Coveri, and a World Champion driver Bruno Coelho to take on a new challenge: redefining performance in the Touring class category.
Our vision was to create a unique car by addressing common market weaknesses: a lighter platform for better weight distribution, smart and accessible mechanical solutions for easier maintenance, and a flexible setup approach to maximise performance... the core focus behind the IF14 Spec1ale. Our concept This is not a variant. It’s not a compromise.
Spec1ale is a dedicated platform, developed from the ground up to meet the specific demands of Touring class racing, while carrying the DNA of the IF14 project: precision, balance, and race-winning efficiency.
It’s a clean start, built with purpose, driven by experience, and shaped by competition. No compromises
Aluminum parts are the structural core of any high-performance RC car.
Design accuracy, stiffness, and mechanical integration all play a critical role on track. For Spec1ale, the entire prototyping of aluminum components was done in Italy, ensuring full control over tolerances and finish quality.
The result met our expectations and established our standard; therefore, we decided to keep the full aluminum production of the first batch in Italy.
Built for performance
We’ve created a platform designed to evolve around performance.
Every detail has been developed to ensure precision, consistency, and competitiveness straight out of the box. Built for Precision The IF14 Spec1ale includes a 2.2mm carbon fiber chassis as standard. Manufactured to tight tolerances and optimized for torsional control, it delivers predictable response and high consistency across a wide range of conditions. Chassis CARBON For situations where carbon becomes less effective, especially on high-grip tracks, an optional 2.0mm 7075T6 aluminum chassis is available. Both versions feature targeted stiffening zones to ensure optimal flex characteristics and adaptability. Chassis ALU Give racers the right tools for every condition. Two options, one philosophy This system is applied to several aluminum parts of the IF14 Spec1ale to achieve two objectives:
- maintain precise and repeatable alignment:
- eliminate unwanted rotation or micro-movements under load.
The centering guide system In a project where performance, reliability, and ease of maintenance are top priorities, centering guides offer a key structural advantage.
Both front and rear shock towers feature the centering guide system, enabling a clean and efficient design: stiffness and simplicity, one screw at a time.
A single central screw ensures secure mounting without compromising rigidity.
Fewer parts mean reduced weight, faster maintenance, and improved overall usability.

Two versions of the lower suspension arm are available: the standard arm included in the kit, and a stiffer hard version as an optional part. Same geometry, different stiffness to match different grip conditions and driving styles. No setup changes, no extra complexity.

Just the right feel, when it matters.

FLEX CONTROL
Plastic compounds matter especially in critical parts like the wheel hubs, where material stiffness directly affects how the car responds to available grip. Two versions are available to fine tune handling: Composite hub Simple, effective, and built for adaptability. Each chassis stiffener is designed to extract maximum performance from your setup, depending on the surface and grip level.
Chassis stiffeners FLEX CONTROL
Strategically placed carbon stiffeners have been designed to increase lateral rigidity of the chassis.
Positioned near the bulkheads, they help control side-to-side flex, enhancing consistency and response under all grip conditions. Side to Side FLEX CONTROL The IF14 Spec1ale comes with two complete drive ratios, both pulley and belt sets included in the box.
This gives direct control over drivetrain response, letting you fine tune throttle feel, braking behavior, and overall balance to match grip levels and driving style.
No optional parts required. Just complete flexibility, right from the start.
Double Gear Ratio Two setups. One car. Full control.
Standard black pulleys ensure reliable performance.
For those chasing maximum drivetrain efficiency, an optional low-friction version is available in a lighter color. A small detail with a measurable impact smoother feel, reduced drag, and a distinctive look. High-Performance Low-Friction Pulleys DRIVETRAIN Differential & Front axle Designed for maximum efficiency and long-term reliability, the front axle and rear differential are machined from high-grade 7075-T6 ERGAL, combining low weight with exceptional precision.
Both parts are left uncoated by design, not just an aesthetic choice, but a way to highlight the quality of the material and the accuracy of the machining.
DRIVETRAIN Central Pulley Following the same light design philosophy, the center pulley holder has been engineered with great attention to detail.
It features four integrated bearings, ensuring smooth rotation and excellent dimensional stability even under high loads. Tuning Options Weight distribution Weight placement is key to adapting the car to different track conditions.
That’s why every mounting point for optional weights has been carefully positioned to give you the best possible balance, wherever you race. Tuning Options Stabilizer bars CNC-manufactured for maximum consistency, the stabilizer bars are available in multiple stiffness options for both front and rear, allowing precise fine-tuning of chassis balance. Tuning Options Carbon
Top Deck
Multiple top deck options are available, featuring different designs, materials, and thicknesses.
Each variant offers specific flex characteristics to fine-tune chassis response for any track surface. FRONT

REAR

Tuning Options Shock Spring Two types of shock springs are available to match different track demands: progressive or linear, your choice. Progressive springs offer broad adaptability across a wide range of conditions, while linear springs are ideal for precise setup refinement in more specific grip windows. Used in combination front and rear, they unlock a wide spectrum of tuning possibilities. Tuning Options Shock absorbers The low center of gravity required for top-level touring car performance led us to push our USP (Ultra Short Profile)concept even further.
By minimizing the size of molded parts, we’ve created an extremely compact shock design without compromising function or tuning range. Tuning Options Motor Mount Machined from solid aluminum, the motor mount has been carefully designed to provide optimal structural rigidity while minimizing weight.
A balanced approach to strength and efficiency, right where it matters most.
Stiff Where It Matters, Light Where It Counts
Low High CG Adjustment The low center of gravity required for top-level touring car performance led us to push our USP (Ultra Short Profile)concept even further.
By minimizing the size of molded parts, we’ve created an extremely compact shock design without compromising function or tuning range. Chassis rigidity Adaptability to different track conditions is ensured by the option to adjust motor mount stiffness through one, two, three, or four mounting screws.
Multiple combinations are possible, each designed to fine-tune chassis response to suit the surface. Deck torsion Note: Depending on the top deck used (standard 2.0mm or thinner 1.6mm) you may need to vary the number and type of shims for optimal balance. Two specific shim types allow precise control over the upper deck's torsional behavior. Placing a 3x4x0.1mm shim between the screw thread and Motor Mount increases the free flex range of the top deck, making the car more responsive. Conversely, positioning a 4x5x0.1mm shim under the screw head reduces flex by increasing clamping force, resulting in a stiffer assembly.
A simple yet effective way to adjust chassis feel. This is
